01 · Service Agreement

Terms & Conditions

Governing participation, livestock stewardship, and the 5-year dairy partnership.

1. Program Overview & Adoption Fee

The Own Your Buffalo program is a 5-year agricultural partnership offered by VBR Barns, located in Didugu Village, Andhra Pradesh. Participants make a one-time adoption contribution of ₹2,00,000, which funds the continuous care, professional housing, balanced organic fodder nutrition, veterinary supervision, and home delivery of non-pasteurized organic milk for the full 1,826-day term. This is an agricultural product and service partnership and does not constitute a financial deposit, security, or investment scheme.

2. Buffalo Allocation & Stewardship

Upon acceptance, each adopter is assigned a dedicated Murrah buffalo identified by a biometric tag and individual registry number (e.g., VBR-MUR-XXXX). To ensure rigorous bio-security, veterinary oversight, and high milk quality standards, the buffalo remains housed and cared for at the VBR Barns facilities in Didugu under the custody of our full-time animal husbandry specialists.

3. Milk Entitlement & Daily Doorstep Fulfillment

Adopters are entitled to 1.0 litre of farm-fresh, non-pasteurized organic Murrah buffalo milk per day for 1,826 consecutive days (totaling 1,826 litres). Delivery schedules, morning timing windows, and route feasibility are verified and mutually agreed prior to program activation. Adopters may pause and resume deliveries for travel via WhatsApp or direct email with 24 hours prior notice.

4. Veterinary Care & Herd Continuity Assurance

The health and dignity of our livestock is our primary priority. Should an assigned buffalo experience illness, seasonal calving dry periods, or veterinary quarantine, VBR Barns guarantees seamless milk fulfillment from a matched certified-healthy Murrah herd buffalo, ensuring uninterrupted daily nutrition for your household.

5. Farm Visitation & Community Rights

Adopters and their immediate family members enjoy scheduled farm access to visit Didugu, meet their buffalo, inspect milking parlors, and experience authentic village life. All visits must be scheduled in advance to safeguard daily farm bio-security and animal welfare routines.

6. Program Transferability & Cancellation

Adopters may transfer their 5-year program rights to another family member or address within our active delivery corridors upon written request to contact@vbrbarns.com. Formal terms covering relocation outside serviceable areas and exceptional circumstances are executed in the final signed adopter covenant.

02 · Data Protection

Privacy Policy (GDPR Compliant)

How VBR Barns collects, processes, and protects your personal data in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Indian IT & DPDP legislation.

1. Data Controller Information

The data controller responsible for your personal information is VBR Barns, Didugu Village, Amaravathi Mandal, Palanadu District, Andhra Pradesh – 522020, India. 2. Lawful Bases for Processing (GDPR Art. 6)

We process your personal data exclusively under recognized lawful grounds: • Contractual Necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)): Fulfilling the buffalo adoption agreement, managing daily milk deliveries, and maintaining customer accounts. • Explicit Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): When you submit enquiry forms, request farm tour bookings, or subscribe to farm newsletters. Consent may be withdrawn at any time. • Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): Retaining invoicing records and complying with statutory tax, food safety, and agricultural reporting. • Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): Optimizing delivery routes, preventing fraud, and ensuring farm physical and digital security.

3. Categories of Personal Data Collected

We collect only the minimum data required to deliver exceptional service: • Identification & Contact Data: Full name, residential delivery address, telephone/WhatsApp number, and email address. • Program & Telemetry Data: Assigned buffalo profile, milk delivery receipts, vacation pause schedules, and optional farm tour attendance logs. • Technical Data: Device IP address, browser type, and anonymous usage telemetry collected when interacting with our website.

4. Your Statutory Rights Under the GDPR

As a data subject, you hold statutory rights enforceable at any time by emailing contact@vbrbarns.com: • Right of Access (Art. 15): Obtain confirmation of data processing and a complete copy of your personal records. • Right to Rectification (Art. 16): Request immediate correction of outdated or inaccurate personal details. • Right to Erasure / Right to be Forgotten (Art. 17): Request permanent deletion of your data when no longer needed for contractual or legal compliance. • Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18): Temporarily restrict processing during active verification or disputes. • Right to Data Portability (Art. 20): Receive your data in a structured, commonly used machine-readable format (JSON/CSV). • Right to Object (Art. 21): Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct informational marketing. • Right to Withdraw Consent: Revoke consent at any moment without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

5. Data Retention & Secure Deletion

Personal records associated with your active 5-year adoption are retained for the duration of the partnership and up to 7 years thereafter to comply with statutory accounting and tax regulations. Following this statutory window, all records are permanently purged or rendered irreversibly anonymous.

6. Data Security & Third-Party Disclosure

We implement robust end-to-end security protocols including TLS 1.3 encryption, encrypted database storage, and strict role-based access permissions. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data is shared exclusively with verified delivery logistics partners bound by strict Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).

Milk Delivery & Quality Standards

Our commitment to unadulterated purity, cold-chain integrity, and reliable morning fulfillment.

1. Fresh Daily Distribution

Non-pasteurized, 100% organic buffalo milk is harvested twice daily in sanitary stainless steel milking units and chilled immediately to 4°C to preserve natural enzymes, bioactive proteins, and healthy probiotics. Deliveries are made early morning directly to your doorstep in sealed, food-grade reusable glass or recyclable containers.

2. Quality Testing & Purity Assurance

Every batch of raw, non-pasteurized organic milk is tested for fat percentage, SNF (solids-not-fat), and microbial purity. We maintain zero tolerance for water adulteration, synthetic preservatives, antibiotic residue, or artificial enhancers.

3. Delivery Pauses & Vacation Management

Going out of town? You can pause delivery easily by messaging our team on WhatsApp or emailing contact@vbrbarns.com with 24 hours advance notice. Paused milk allocations remain accounted for within your 1,826-litre lifetime entitlement.

04 · Ethical Care

Animal Welfare & Veterinary Charter

The ethical cornerstone of VBR Barns: humane, respectful, and transparent livestock care.

1. Cruelty-Free & Natural Living

Our Murrah buffaloes enjoy spacious, ventilated barns, free-roaming paddock areas, and daily wading in freshwater channels. We strictly prohibit oxytocin or unnatural hormone injections to artificially stimulate milk production.

2. Natural Lifespan Commitment

Unlike commercial intensive dairy operations, buffaloes completing their lactation cycles are never abandoned or sold for slaughter. They transition into peaceful retirement sanctuaries on our Didugu farm, receiving lifelong food, medical attention, and loving care.
